Dr. Antoinette Chamoun

Dr. Antoinette Chamoun is excited to join the team at Vision By Design. After completing her Bachelor of Sciences at the University of Alberta, she moved to Oregon and obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2016 from Pacific University. During optometry school, Dr. Chamoun was an ocular disease teaching assistant, which sparked her interest in ocular disease and dry eye. During her clinical externships, she trained with several speciality sites, including: Gimbel cataract/LASIK surgical centre, a contact lens speciality clinic (Davis Eyecare, IL), the Veterans Affairs in Lexington, KY and at Fort Washakie IHS in Fort Washakie, WY. She has a special interest in ocular disease, dry eye management, and contact lenses.

After graduating, Dr. Chamoun moved to Minnesota and practiced full scope optometry, working closely with ophthalmologists at the neighboring Mayo Clinic. In 2020, she decided to move to Edmonton to be closer to friends and family. She is excited to be back in her hometown and serving the community she grew up in! In her spare time she enjoys fitness, travelling, stand up comedy and spending time with her English Bulldog Bruno.

Dr. Chamoun provides full scope optometric care to patients of all ages.
