Andy moved to Edmonton in 2017 from Fredericton, New Brunswick where he graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Civil Engineering Degree. Upon his move, Andy joined an optical team on Whyte Avenue as an Optometric Assistant where his passion for the optical developed and he sparked an interest in taking the Optical Sciences Diploma at Nait. Andy was eager to learn more in the optical world so decided to join Vision by Design to begin his career as a licensed Optician. Andy showcases exceptional patient care through his eyewear makeover techniques paired with advanced optical theory. He has done countless hours studying face shapes, colour complexions along with current and future trends. Not only is Andy a key member to our optical team, he also is one of our more advanced lab technicians for our in house edging service. Andy strives to provide every patient with a customized eye care experience and looks forward to becoming a licensed Optician in the future years to come.
